5,608 more than at last year’s event.

In total, the four-day wine event, the largest dedicated exhibition in the region, drew 12,128 visitors, including 3,015 trade visitors. The figures surpassed the organisers’ expectations. Singex Exhibitions and Wine Resources had expected a total of about 10,000 visitors – 7,000 members of the public and 3,000 from the trade. Wine for
Asia had attracted 4,122 visitors.

Trade visitors included overseas visitors from
Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Korea, China, India, Sri Lanka, France, Germany, Italy, HongKong, Mongolia, New Zealand, Philippines, Spain, Switerland, Taiwan, ROC, USA and Australia. They compromised wine and spirits importers and distributors, retailers, corporate executives, hotel F&B directors, restaurateurs, chefs, bartenders and sommeliers, representatives from wine clubs, wine enthusiasts and wine novices.
